Joe Bergin

I am an educator teaching at Pace University in New York City. I have been interested in Object Orientation since 1985 and in patterns since I was nearly trampled when the Gang Of Four book was released at OOPSLA.

My interest in patterns covers Pedagogical Patterns, Elementary Patterns, ethical dimensions of patterns, getting to pattern languages, and how Christopher Alexander's work can be made more relevant to our own.

I have an extensive web site, of use mostly to educators, at csis.pace.edu , and can be reached by email at mailto:jbergin@pace.edu

Joe is a prolific writer who has contributed to the teaching of Extreme Programming. -- Eugene Wallingford
